About the Omnibus Hearts leaderboard
This board ranks completed games of Omnibus Hearts by penalty points - fewest points first, with time only breaking ties. Omnibus Hearts takes everything you know about classic Hearts and adds one glittering exception: the jack of diamonds is worth minus 10 points to whoever captures it - a game rated Adds a reward to chase where the jack of diamonds swings 11+ points a hand. The current best score here is 7 points by Anonymous.
How ranking works
- Only completed games count, and every result is checked for a plausible score, trick count and time before it's listed.
- Fewest penalty points ranks first; ties break toward the faster time, so a quick, clean hand beats a slow one.
- Signed-in players keep a permanent name on the board and sync records across devices; guests can still post a display name.
- Switch between Today, This Week, This Month and All Time above to see recent form or lifetime bests.
What counts as a good Omnibus score?
Every hand has 26 penalty points on the table - 13 hearts at 1 point each, plus the Queen of Spades at 13. Here's a rough guide for a single hand:
| 0 points | A perfect hand - you dodged every heart and the queen. |
|---|---|
| 1-4 points | Great - a stray heart or two, nothing worse. |
| 5-8 points | Fine - roughly your fair share of the pain. |
| 13+ points | Painful - the Queen of Spades almost certainly found you. |
| 26 points | You took everything - or shot the moon and came up one trick short. |
Across a full game to 100 points:
| Under 40 total | Excellent - you're steering hands, not just surviving them. |
|---|---|
| 40-60 total | Solid - smart passing and safe exits most of the time. |
| 60-85 total | Average - a queen or two found its way to you. |
| Over 85 total | Rough - time to rethink what you pass. |
The fastest way to climb this board isn't playing faster - it's taking fewer points. Pass your dangerous cards, count the hearts, and let the clock matter only when scores are tied.

Leaderboard FAQ
How does the Hearts leaderboard work?
It ranks completed games by penalty points, lowest first. Every result is checked for a plausible score, trick count and time before it is listed, and ties break toward the faster finish.
What counts as a good Hearts score?
In a single hand, 0 points is perfect, 1-4 is great and 5-8 is fine; 13 or more usually means the Queen of Spades found you. Across a full game to 100, keeping your total under 40 is excellent.
Do I need an account to appear on the leaderboard?
No. Guests can post a display name. A free account keeps a permanent name and syncs your records across devices.
Can I compare scores fairly?
Yes - play the daily challenge, where everyone gets the identical deal against the same AI opponents, so scores are directly comparable.
