Which Hearts game should you play?

Best if you're brand new
Start with classic Hearts. If choosing three cards to pass feels overwhelming at first, flip on No Passing mode and just play the hand you're dealt - the rest of the game is identical.
Best if you want a prize to chase
Omnibus Hearts adds one card everybody wants: the Jack of Diamonds, worth minus 10 points. Suddenly you're deciding when to win a trick on purpose, not just how to dodge them all.
Best for big swings
Spot Hearts makes every heart count its pip value - the Jack is 11, the Queen 12, the King 13, the Ace 14 - and the Queen of Spades costs 25. That's 129 points per hand, played to 500, so no lead is ever safe.
Best if you want a real challenge
Black Maria is the British version and the toughest of the family: the Ace of Spades costs 7, the King 10, and the Queen 13 on top of the hearts, for 43 points a hand. You always pass three cards to the right.
Classic
The standard game most people learned first - hearts cost 1 point each, the Queen of Spades costs 13, and the lowest score wins.
Point Variants
Same play, different scoring - a bonus jack worth minus 10 in Omnibus, and pip-value hearts worth up to 129 a hand in Spot Hearts.
Regional Variants

Dozens of Hearts variants have been documented, but a handful make up nearly all real-world play.
